Description :
The distribution of piping in Britain has been studied from a survey of 74 piped basins, and a number of in-depth studies at the individual basin scale. This was undertaken to determine the factors controlling the distribution of piping at 2 scales, the broad national distribution and the distribution at the scale of individual basins.
