Relationships between hydraulic variables and bedload transport in a subalpine channel, Colorado Rocky Mountains, U.S.A.

Description :
This study focused on whether or not bedload discharges and size distributions are responsive to changes in flow, either at-a-point or across a section, in the East St. Louis Creek watershed, Colorado. Because of the limitations of the Helley-Smith sampler used in this study, the AA. focused on the movement of the sand and gravel-size fractions of bedload. The data suggest equal mobility for sand and gravel transport.
