Description :
This paper discusses the geomorphic response to late Quaternary climatic changes, and to some extent, human impact, along an Asian transect running from Eastern Siberia via Mongolia and Tibet to India : Khangai Mountains of Mongolia, Darjeeling Himalaya, and less precise observations from Yakutia, the whole Mongolian and Quaidam-Tibet-Himalayan sections of the transect, and the Meghalaya Plateau.
