Description :
Results are presented from several months of process measurements on the beaches of two sites in the Netherlands. The aim of the measurements was to gain insight into relationships between aeolian sand transport, meteorological conditions, and environmental factors. This paper discusses the relationship between transport and meteorological conditions, with special attention to the deviation between actual and potential rates of transport.
