Description :
The AA. present the first thermoluminescence (TL) age estimates and new C 14 dates for late Quaternary loesses at 2 key loess sections in southwestern Nebraska, the Eutis ash pit and the Bignell Hill road cut. The Peoria Loess samples were obtained from the top and bottom of very thick (15 m and 50 m) loess deposits. TL age estimates for loess deposition are compared with δ18O and solar insolation curves.
