This paper focuses on the sand transport rate patterns, observed at two sites along the Dutch coast, during several events. Special attention is paid to the interaction of the aeolian transport processes with both topography and vegetation. Patterns of erosion and deposition are examined, together with their relation to wind flow characteristics.
