Description :
The purpose of this paper is to examine variations in vegetation along 4 small streams in the Illawara region of southeastern Australia, to develop appropriate vegetation categories or indices that reflect the influence of vegetation on channel variations of these selected streams, and to compare these indices with those developed elsewhere in terms of broadly recognised hydraulic geometry relationships.
