Micro-erosion meter measurements of travertine deposition rates : a case study from Louie Creek, northwest Queensland, Australia

The aim of this paper is to report the results of a study of travertine deposition rates from a small karst stream in northwest Queensland. Rates were determined directly from over 50 artificial substrates which were positioned in the stream bed, retrieved periodically and measured using a micro-erosion meter (MEM)
