Description :
This study utilizes hydrologic modeling for discrete episodes of land use over a 160-year period, in a Georgia watershed, to portray the hydrologic adjustments that occur during a period of intensive land clearing and subsequent revegetation. It then compares these hydrologic shifts to field-based geomorphic adjustments such as gullying and valley aggradation. The ultimate goal is to examine the relaxation times of different components of the broader geomorphic system and to determine their degree of coincidence.
