Learning and learning capability in the Fordist and post-Fordist age : an integrative framework

In this paper, the concept of learning capability is used to integrate different perspectives and to provide an integrative framework for capturing the changing nature of industrial orgnaization and international competition. The AA. focus on analyzing Fordist and post-Fordist forms of learning at various levels and their differing impact on the learning capability of firms in a regional context. The role of interfirm networks is emphasized in facilitating learning and learning capability.
