Reconceptualising manufacturing-service linkages: a realist approach

Auteur(s) et Affiliation(s)

DUNHAM, P.J.
School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, Coventry University, Coventry, Royaume-Uni

Description :
The A. contends that the analysis of manufacturing-service linkages remains a valid focus of study, and argues that the future research needs to be accompanied by a philosophical change. A realist conceptual framework for the analysis of these linkages is developed which improves on the positivist and Marxist approaches hitherto employed. He concludes with an assessment of the main strengths and weaknesses of the realist approach.
