The purpose of this paper is to reconstruct the Holocene evolution of the digitate fluvial delta on Middle Creek, Narrabeen Lagoon, NSW. Therefore the landforms of the delta plain were mapped, historic delta changes were determined by photogrametrically comparing 1951 and 1994 vertical air photographs, and the lithofacies of the delta plain were constructed from shallow hand-auger holes and deep boreholes.
