Description :
This study deals with the hydrochemical characteristics of groundwater in the upper catchment of Wadi Fatimah basin on the Arabian Shield. The analysis of data indicated strongly that the chloride and sulfate in the groundwater are mainly of marine origin, concentrated by high evaporation processes. Flushing is the most important factor that modifies the ionic concentrations and almost stands for the short-term variation in groundwater chemistry.
