Description :
The hydraulic geometry, runoff and sediment transport processes were studied during the 1991 summer season in two small pyroclastic drainage basins on Deception Island, South Shetland Islands. This study addresses three questions regarding: 1) the effects of temperature on streamflow, 2) the variation in the hydraulic channel geometry under different discharge values and 3) the sediment transport processes.
