An aim of this study is to clarify the effect of urbanization on sediment disasters with special concern for its geomorphological features. A case study took place in 3 districts; Susukizulka, Jinnouchi and Kawahira Districts, where severe damages by sediment discharge caused by heavy rainfall took place in July 1982.
