The evolution of suburban tourist-residential areas towards stable settlements is a phenomenon common to urban expansion in developed countries. Often, second home provides valuable pointers as to urban development for housing purposes, preparing the ground for the property market as well as for the infrastructures. But above all are the operators, local or otherwise, to benefit from these indications, ready to respond to the stimuli provided by the rising demand for high quality residential areas close to the urban centres.
