Climate change and future hydroclimate for the Upper Crooked River, Oregon

Auteur :
SHELTON, M.L.

Description :
The purpose of this paper is to quantify changes in the amount and timing of soil moisture and moisture available to become runoff for the Upper Crooked River watershed assuming a warmer climate. Assessing the significance of these changes is achieved by comparing 9 years of modeled present-day hydroclimate conditions with modeled watershed processes using temperature and precipitation estimated by a limited area model nested in a global circulation model (GCM) run to simulate a doubled carbon dioxide climate.
