Biodiversity, congruence
Auteur :GASTON, K.J.
Description :
Patterns and levels of congruence arguably constitute pivotal issues in the study of biodiversity. High levels of congruence in diversity and endemism would greatly facilitate developing an understanding of broad patterns in biodiversity. They would also facilitate conservation efforts, by enabling heavy reliance to be placed on patterns of just a few taxa for the determination of priorities and strategies.
