Factors influencing the distribution of gully erosion in Kwazulu Natal's Mfolozi catchment - land reform implications

Auteurs :
WATSON, H.K.
RAMOKGOPA, R.

Description :
Soil erosion in the Mfolozi catchment is already a serious problem and likely to be worsened by landuse changes following the land reform programme. Susceptible and very susceptible landtypes were identified in a detailed examination of geomorphological characteristics, rainfall patterns and gully erosion, in an effort to identify areas unsuitable for agricultural development. - (AJC)
