Sediment characterization and porewater isotope chemistry of Quaternary deposits from the St. Clair delta, Ontario, Canada

Description :
This paper defines the physical properties of the Quaternary deposits and associated porewaters of Walpole Island, the largest of the islands composing the St. Clair Delta. The aim is to improve understanding of the delta's sedimentation and porewater evolution using sedimentology, stable isotopes, and groundwater chemistry. This study will serve to assist the Walpole Island community in future land-use planning.
