Evidence for cirque glaciation in the Colorado Front Range during the Younger Dryas chronozone

Description :
The AA. present evidence that indicates a limited advance of alpine glaciers occured in the Colorado Front Range Mountains during the Younger Dryas Chron. Sky Pond was selected for this study because it is situated directly downvalley from a moraine with relative-age features similar to those of early Holocene to late Pleistocene glacial landforms in the Colorado Front Range.
