Description :
An evaluation of morphometric parameters is done in the hyper-arid Altwiqi watershed. Vegetation distribution is assessed in relation to morphometry, soil and grazing. The results suggest that : morphometric variables are the main determinants of vegetation structure; decreasing grazing improve hydrologic, soil and vegetation attributes; managing watershed by reducing grazing has positive feedback on ecosystem function.
