Description :
The objective of this paper is to analyse spatial distribution of market values of land for residential housing, and to determine to what degree its variability can depend on commuting time. The study area cover communes of the Mińsk poviat strongly affected, in our opinion, by the local city Mińsk Mazowiecki and the central city of Warsaw. The analysis was conducted with the application of the ArcGIS ESRI geographical information system technology. Based on data from the real estate price and value register for the Mińsk poviat, transaction prices of undeveloped land from the period 2008–2011 were analysed. The database of topographic objects, cadastre information included on the iGeoMap website, and internet road maps were also used in the study. – (BJ)
