Profitable firms and companies embedded in the economy of the 21st century and located in industrial parks need sophisticated transport and telecommunication infrastructure. Nowadays all the elements of this infrastructure must be used environmentally friendly, at a much lower costs than ever before, saving energy, materials and natural resources in their operation.This international trend has resulted in the devaluation of their transport accessibility as a traditional factor of location. Opposite to it the location of industrial parks into places having optimal logistic, ecological and human factors has come to the fore. The article deals with these questions and gives an overview of the literature on accessibility of industrial parks. - (AM)
