Description :
The AA. utilize a 34-year record (1976 to 2010) of multi-spectral satellite data to extract glacier frontal positions of major outlet glaciers of the ice cap Vestfonna, in northeastern Svalbard. They interpret the results in the context of elevation change measurements from satellite imagery and DEMs, as well as to repeat ice velocity measurements from SAR interferometry and feature tracking.
