Les AA. mesurent la fragmentation sociale dans les quartiers en Nouvelle-Zélande à partir d’un indice basé sur l’attachement, les ressources et le partage des normes et des valeurs communes. Ils évaluent les perceptions individuelles des résidents au niveau de la cohésion sociale et de la privation. Ils concluent que cet indice permet d’évaluer avec précision l’environnement social dans les différents quartiers en fonction leurs différentes caractéristiques socio-professionnelles.
