Description :
Mislinja Valley is a sub-alpine valley located in northern Slovenia. The valley is predominantly covered by forests, which occupy nearly 70 % of the area. Only 25 % of the area is covered by agricultural land. Greening is the prevalent change in land use/ground cover. In addition to other factors, land use also depends on the soil properties. This article deals with the connection between soil distribution and land use in the Mislinja Valley with its hilly margins. - (IKR)
