The article presents some demographic consequences of immigration in Slovenia emphasizing the emigration from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Employment is at the forefront among the reasons for immigration, for which the proximity of emigration area and its local social conditions, as well as the immigrant community are also important. Immigrants play an important part in social structures of Slovenian population. Immigration does not however have a positive impact on natural growth. - (IKR)
