This article examines the impact of climate changes on the development of tourism in the Alps. Based on activity in test areas, general adaptation strategies were designed with regard to the seasonal character of tourism centers: summer, winter, or year-round. Recommendations were also drafted for shaping policies for the sustainable development of tourism in the Alps. - (IKR)
