The AA. look at the relationship between the different accessibility models and regional development. The use of models arises as to interpretation, have problems because of their complexity. In order to solve this problem, a method was developed by which the breakdown of the factors of accessibility potential is feasible. The NUTS3 regions of European Union is taken as an example. The AA. analyze the spatial relationships between development and the accessibility, show the factors of accessibility potential, and examine relationship between these factors and the components of development. Finally, the AA. examine the accessibility potential of EU27 NUTS3 regions that impact on the region’s dominant nationality. - (AM)
