Description :
The paper deals with selected problems of rural development in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, including the vision as far as 2050. This comprises the spatial analysis of selected development indicators according to their status in 2010 and the attempt to assess the changes in comparison with year 2002. It focuses on two major development determinants: demographic (number and structure of population by economic age groups) and the economic ones (evaluation of the situation in the rural labour market, along with distinguishing categories of the unemployed and of surplus agricultural workers). The AA. present the vision of the region's population growth against the background of the country. – (BJ)
