Il turismo dei fari e nei fari
Le tourisme des phares et celui à l'intérieur des phares
Auteur :MALVASI, M.
Description :
In the old times, it was common to light fires on the top of the hills near the coasts, so that the sailors could have a help in orientation. Today, within the practices of alternative and qualified tourisms, it is common to visit lighthouses. The majority of Italian lighthouses can be observed only from the outside, with the exception of so called “Lantern” in Genoa and the lighthouse of Trieste. A more recent practice is the creation of hospitality services within the lighthouses. The list of them that are accessible to the supporters of this sustainable form of tourism is very wide, offering different comfort standards. Less luxurious are usually the lighthouses in Croatia. - (NF)
