The first part of this article was published in Przegląd Geograficzny of 2012, 84, 2, with a review of literature on geographical and related studies of disability. Also characterised there were means of accessing places of employment, healthcare and recreation and leisure by the disabled, as well as by able-bodied members of the same households. In turn, the second part included in this issue is concerned with spatial access to transport micro-areas in city, also defining the main directions to the movements of the disabled, and offering a set of characteristic features where their daily mobility is concerned. – (BJ)
