La différenciation régionale de la nuptialité en Pologne dans les années 1999-2011

Observation of changes in people’s inclination to enter into marriage from one region (voivodship) to another and when urban areas are compared with rural ones. The purpose of this article is to show the courses of such trends and to determine which regions are similar from this point of view. The assessment of differences between voivodships is in turn achieved using measures of dispersion, while stability over time in the situation characterising given voivodships is distinguished by reference to values for the linear correlation coefficient. Homogeneous groups of voivodships from the above point of view were identified using agglomerative statistical methods. – (BJ)
