Attractivité des touristes pour la région de Zakarpatie

The article presents the tourist attractiveness of The Zakarpattia, Ukrainian region near Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, recently a part of Ukraine, but in the past often changing its national status. This relatively unknown region characterized by a large degree of geographical isolation (the Carpathian Mountains to the North, the Cisa River to the South) remains one of the most interesting regions of the European Continent. The tourist attractiveness of The Zakarpattia is characterized in the categories of natural and anthropogenic values. The article also characterizes the ethnic, religious and linguistic diversity of the region, which are other elements of tourist interest. - (BJ)
