The study, after a short presentation of the history of the Chinese immigrants in Hungary, traces the geography of spatial networks and diasporic settlements of the Chinese community in Budapest, highlighting some consequences of the Chinese immigration at the Hungarian labour market and in the housing conditions. The study also offers an attempt to redefine the term Chinese diaspora. - (AM)
