Description :
The AA. will show how the erosion processes proceeded during real rainfall-runoff phenomena in the Southern French Alps through visual observations, which were made by installing a time-lapse camera to record the erosion processes occuring on the Black Marls badlands or Terres Noires slope surface. The observations revealed that miniature debris flows (MDFs) occured at the time of the rainfall-runoff event in which the most severe erosion took place in the whole observation period of 3 months. Based on the observations, the data at the outlet of a small experimental basin including the visually observed slope were interpreted.
