Description :
In this paper, the AA. made a detailed optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating application to loess samples collected at Laoguantai (LGT) site on the south of the Chinese Loess Plateau, as well as magnetic susceptibility (MS), Rb/Sb ratio, Li/Ba ratio, CaCO3 and grain-size distribution at high vertical sampling resolution (at 2 cm intervals) were also measured. Based on the measurement results, the paper has firstly determined the chronology of the loess-paleosol sequence, and then further investigated the evolutional history of aeolian loess deposition and pedogenesis and potential forcing mechanism during the Holocene in this area.
