Description :
This paper presents some initial interpretations of the pore water pressure measurements from 3 piezometers coupled with the rainfall and rain intensity measurements from an automated weather station established in the upper Tikovil River basin of Kerala. These findings are related to the mass movements that occurred in the experimental catchment and surrounding area on June 22, 2007.
