Description :
The studied sand territory is located on the left side of the Tisza River (Great Hungarian Plain), as a break off part of the Danube-Tisza Interfluve. By dating the aeolian sand formations and paleosoil of the Tiszakürt-Bogaras sections with luminescence methods, evidence could be found for sand-moving periods during the historical times: namely 12th and 18th centuries. - (AM)
