The paper aims at identifying retention types and their natural and anthropogenic determinants in the catchment of the Potok Oliwski, especially in its headwater section, by means of Mike She mathematic model. The calculations performed allowed to determine that the studied area, due to natural factors, has high retention potential, mostly in the underground zones. - (BJ)
