Landscape protection is one of important tasks in implementation of sustainable development policy. Landscape is subject of protection both as an element of heritage and as a public good. In Poland there are two approaches to protection of the most valuable landscapes used - areas and objects are protected by separate acts on protection of nature and protection of heritage. The form of protection clearly evolves towards protection of cultural landscape. - (BJ)
