Description :
This paper describes the relevant geomorphic features with special reference to river responses associated with active faults in Siang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh. The optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dating is applied on the alluvial cover of the terraces provided an opportunity to access the bedrock incision rate of the river and to draw chronological framework of the neotectonic activity. A geological map is presented after extensive regional fieldwork during the last one decade. Survey of India topographic maps on 1:50,000 scales were used to demarcate the litho-tectonic units and geomorphic features.
