Description :
The AA. aim to highlight the important role that in-channel sedimentation plays in flood risk, to explore the spatial and temporal nature of this sedimentation and to examine factors underlying the nature of the sediment supply and transfer system. In doing so, this work assesses the importance of coarse sediment transfer in river management, particularly as the climate and land-use change.
