Recent economic studies assert that rational choices are consistent with altruistic behavior, as shown by mathematical and biological experiments. Experiments on «iterated games» show that cooperative models are emerging in social behaviors. The complexity of the environmental matter faces the failure of policy rather than market failure, even in climate trade. The international forestry policy is an example of uncertain public choices. - (NF)
