Description :
Collectively, the four papers gathered here show not just that materiality matters to the development of waste scholarship but that a focus on industrial waste matters to the development of work on materiality. Ranging across diverse geographically imaginations, they show too how the geographies of waste scholarship might move beyond their traditional locus of the municipality, the region and the nation-state.
