Presence-experiences - the eventalisation of urban space

Following M. Foucault on eventalisation and H.M. Gumbrecht on presence-events, the A. focuses on subcultural and subpolitical groups trying to capture urban commercial spaces and to reverse or reveal their symbolic meaning. Using the oppositional youth group Pirate Parties in Denmark, he argues that the eventalisation and the presence quality of space make events a desired experience and the qualities of the presence-experience more desired than the political content of the event.
