Description :
This paper summarises the results of long-term observations on a limestone slope subject to deep seasonal frost in the Corviglia area, Upper Engadin. Particular attention is given to highlight 2 types of soil movements (solifluction and mudflow), to discuss the roles of these processes in developing lobate morphology and finally to understand long-term trends and interannual variability in soil movements.
