This paper describes the georeferencing, the metrical and cartographic quality and Geoinformationsystem. The regional maps of the 18th-century cartographers and architects Carl Friedrich von Wiebeking and Friedrich Wilhelm Karl von Schmettau belong to the first which represent the Mecklenburg region in a scale which be used for scientific purposes. - (IfL)
