Suret-Canale : de la Résistance à l’anticolonialisme
Auteur :BIANCHINI, P.
Description :
Jean Suret-Canale (1921-2007) was an anti-colonialist geographer, better known as an historian of sub-Saharan Africa, whose position on the far left of politics created complexities in his professional life (as a secondary teacher, and researcher) in France and in parts of West Africa. The core of this book is the transcript of biographical interviews with Suret-Canale, which is complemented by an introductory essay by Bianchini, facsimiles of documents, photographs, and a concluding essay by Amady Aly Dieng. - (HC)
